¼ cup of water
FOR THE COVER

4 tbs. chick pea flour/corn flour/all purpose flour
¼ tsp. black pepper powder
¼ tsp. sea salt/salt
1 tbs. extra-virgin oil/Canola oil
Olive oil spray/Pam
Cooking Directions:

For The Filling
In a suitable pan put 4 tbsp. extra-virgin oil/Canola oil and keep it on medium heat for 3 minutes. Add chopped onions and stir fry until light brown. Add rest of the ingredients except turkey, vinegar, salt and water. Stir fry for all the ingredients together for another 2 minutes. Add ground turkey,
Vinegar and salt and stir fry for another 3 minutes. Add Water and mix it well. Cover the pan and reduce the heat to lowest and cook for 30 minutes.
Open the lid and stir the turkey mixture well to break the lumps that are formed during cooking. Keep stirring until all the water evaporates. Take out the mixture on a plate and set aside to cool down.
Preparation for the cover:
Put the mashed potato in a suitable bowl and add oil, salt and black pepper powder. Knead it like dough. Make 10 to 12 even balls out of the dough.
On a plate sprinkle some of the flour that you have chosen and keep the rest aside to use later as needed.
On another plate spray oil and keep aside.
Put a piece of plastic wrap on a cutting board and flatten 2 potato dough balls side by side with your finger tips to form into small rounds of same size. Place 1 tsp. of turkey mixture in the center of one of the rounds and place the other round on the top of mixture. (You may grease your palms from time to time with some oil pray to avoid the dough sticking). Seal the edges all around by pressing gently and place the Patties in the flour sprinkled plate. Dab both the sides turning each side couple of times so that the flour gets coated evenly all over the patties. Keep it on the oil sprayed plate.
Repeat the same way to prepare all the patties.
Put a suitable nonstick pan on medium heat and spray with oil. Place 2 patties at a time on it and cook for 2-3 minutes. Flip over to the other side and cook for another 2-3 minutes or until dark brown.
Serve with boiled peas/ any other vegetable of your choice. Ketchup tastes good with it.
